In the month of January 2017, Maharashtra Election commission declared the BMC Election 2017. Last election for BMC under goes into 2012. At that time Shiv Sena and BJP Alliance made a government on India's Financial Capital "Mumbai" In last 2012 Election, Shiv Sena won the 75 seats and BJP won the 69 Seats. Polling for BMC Election 2017 goes on 21st February 2017.

Nominations : 27 January 2017 to 3rd February 2017
Last date for Campaigning: 19 February 2017
Polling date for BMC : 21st February 2017

Total Candidates for BMC Election 2017 are 2,275 Candidates. (1190 males and 1084 Females and one Transgender). There are total of 13 political parties will check their power in BMC.
